What is the inspiration for your company's name?
My grandmother, Aida Baez, was an incredible woman. She had a huge heart and accepted EVERYONE who sought her help. She also had a devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus (El Sagrado Corazón). When I was starting this company and considering the values that I wanted my career to embody, her kindness and the word Corazón stood out most to me. I feel like I truly put everything I am into my work, including heart and soul.
Are your services in-person or virtual?
At this time, all of our services are provided via telehealth to protect the well-being of our clients. We implement a secure video conferencing platform so you can access support from your own home, or wherever is most convenient for you. This also allows us to serve people across the states of South Carolina and Florida, not just those local to us in Summerville.
Why is a lotus part of your logo?
Lotuses have long been considered a symbol of regeneration and new beginnings. They are lovely flowers, but they often grow out of murky water. In the same way, people are capable of creating beautiful, meaningful lives for themselves even after emerging from negative or traumatic experiences. I am passionate about walking with and supporting people along that journey. Furthermore, the lotus is a flower with many layers which often display several different colors. People also have many different facets, and I believe that sustainable growth involves a holistic approach involving all of them.
Do you accept HSA/FSA cards?
Yes, we do, along with credit and debit cards! Our records system is integrated with Stripe, which allows secure, efficient payment. The client enters their information directly through the client portal, and no one in our office ever has access to it. In the event we are temporarily unable to complete a transaction in this way, we are also connected to Square.
